Use this adapter to retrofit a Keihin FCR onto your vintage Husaburg motorcycle!  The new adapter from Allgeyer Performance Products builds on the popular APP-1001-2 design for DRZ400s, and APP-1003-1 for Honda XR650s.

This adapter will allow a Keihin FCR carburetor without the removable intake bell to be installed onto any Husaburg equipped from the factory with a Dellorto round slide carburetor.  Dellorto carburetors were common on many Husaburg motorcycles from 1989 and into the 1990's on motorcycles of various engine sizes.  Unfortunatly replacement parts for the Dellorto can be difficult to find and costly.  The APP adapter is used with the Dellorto stock air boot for an easy installation.

You will need a Keihin FCR’s without the removable intake bell.  These are common on 4 stroke racing four-wheelers and dirt bikes. FCRs without the removable intake bell are identical internally to those with the removable intake bell, but can be obtained much cheaper. The adapter allows an FCR without the removable intake to be installed onto a Husaburg with increases in horsepower. Reference the attached pictures for more details on selecting the right carb!

·                Optional side holes for secure mounting using the set screws (included) and locating slot to prevent movement. 

·                Adapters can be used with FCR's of various bore sizes (for example 38, 39, 40, 41mm etc.).

·                The engineered plastic has been specifically selected for its properties as a heat barrier.  

·                All adapters have been tested to withstand normal operating temperatures and for gasoline resistance. 

·                No modifications are required to your carburetor to use this adapter.
